I am not receiving messages from my organization.

You need to OPT IN to your organization's text alert program before you can start receiving messages.  Contact your organization's text campaign administrator for additional information.

If you have opt in to receive text alerts from your organization, you should have received an opt in confirmation message. If you have not received a confirmation, you may have a Premium Message block on your mobile account.
